Summer of 2018

Hi and welcome back after a long overdue update..
Since making my coat, I made a few more garments this summer as shown below.
Firstly I tackled a size 18 dress I bought during my internship at Anna Stolz. I altered it to my size and completely changed the look.
For my next creation, I used fabric I bought in Nepal where I interned the previous year.
After various design developments I chose to make a tunic dress with a big frill neckline which could be worn off shoulder and optional matching waistband.
Following on to my next creation, I wanted to make some palazzo pants with the other fabric I got from Nepal. Unfortunately I didn't have enough fabric for the pattern I made. So I used some left over fabric. However I am happy with the outcome. This is the first made to measure trousers I have designed and sewed.
Since making the trousers, I decided to make my first wrap top. This was a challenge but after many alterations to fit, I am happy with the outcome. This was also made from leftover fabric.
I will continue to design and make new garments to increase my sewing skills this Winter 2018.
